Here at the Junaluska Fire Department we are seeking individuals who are wanting to give back to the community. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable life experience and skills you can’t get anywhere else. You will get the opportunity to attend firefighting classes, EMT, leadership classes, and so much more. We respond to a variety of incidents ranging from medical calls to structure fires. This is a chance to do the things we all dreamed of as a kid.
Volunteer Requirements
- 18 Years Old
- Valid NC Drivers License
- Attend 50 Hours of Training Each Year
- Answer 5% of Calls Each Year (About 60 Calls)
